Removing ashes from the steam locomotive's boiler was an essential process to ensure it's efficient operation. Ash Pits were used to collect the ashes.

Bar Mills' kit is easy to assemble, despite it's complex appearance. All of the hard work has been done for you! Apply a few washes of color and weathering, install the I-beam, rail-spacer rods (4) and 4 the nut/bolt/washer castings from the sprues and you're ready to dump those cinders in your rail yard!
