Micro-Mark HO Truck Tuner and Truck Spreading Plier Set

The spreader plier is very nicely made, nicely finished, and smooth. I didn't even feel or hear creaking from the return spring. Be careful because the points are sharp and I would take care not to set them near the edge of the bench because they are the most fragile part of the tool. These fit well in my older starter set cars, save for one old Bachmann caboose which was a really tight fit. Be careful because these give you a pretty high mechanical advantage and I actually snapped a old Model Power truck the second time I used it.

The truck tuner reamer is amazing. This allowed me to convert my plastic wheels over to metal wheels and they spin effortlessly now. I was able to slip the rubber ring off to allow clearance on some Talgo trucks that I couldn't convert over to body-mounted couplers (the ring goes back on fine).
