Made entirely of steel and aluminum, this high-quality, precision mini vise is engineered to securely grip items of almost any shape at virtually every angle, making it one of the most versatile self-standing bench-top vises for a wide array of tasks, including small component assembly and repair, jewelry making, model building, drilling, painting, and more. With a compact footprint of only 2.75" wide x 3.5" long and standing 4" high, this surprisingly substantial, solidly-built vise weighs in at just over 1 lb., allowing it to hold a variety of items without tipping. Turn the knurled and anodized aluminum adjustment knob, and the vise's spring-loaded, perfectly square machined steel jaws glide smoothly along steel guide pins to a maximum open capacity of 0.75" x 0.625" deep. The vise head assembly is mounted to a steel ball swivel which can be rotated quickly to the exact position to suit your project, then locked down with the anodized lever. For added versatility, the top surfaces of the 0.75" long x 0.375" wide jaws feature ten holes to accommodate the four included 0.75"-long x 0.125" diameter steel pins, allowing the vise to hold spherical items and irregularly-shaped components with ease.
