Sherline 4400 Series 3.5" x 17" Lathe features include: A high-torque 90VDC motor with variable speed control which is internally equipped with a converter that automatically adjusts to incoming AC current from 100 to 240 volts, 50 or 60 cycles/sec without loss of torque; 24" (610 mm) bed that has 17" (431 mm) between centers; 2.5" (63 mm) resettable "zero" handwheel on the leadscrew, plus two deluxe 2" (51 mm) resettable "zero" handwheels on the feed screw and crosslide; 2.75" (70 mm) x 6.0" (152 mm) crosslide with two T-slots; rocker tool post in place of standard type; two position pulleys; Kevlar reinforced drive belt and adjustable anti-backlash.
