- Start with a 1/16" dowel or a 1/16" x 1/16" square strip.
- Insert it into the smallest hole it will fit.
- Pull it through—the sharpened edge shaves the wood as it passes.
- Move progressively through smaller holes until you reach the exact diameter you need.
