In order to provide maximum versatility for makers, we now offer our easy-to-use, 1:1 mix ratio RTV Mold Putty in 3 different Durometer (hardness) levels. The higher the "Duro" number, the harder the rubber mold when cured. Delicate patterns require the flexibility of lower Duro putties to prevent damage to both the pattern and the casting when making the mold and when de-molding. The best results for harder, stiffer patterns designed to produce straight, strong castings are achieved with higher Duro putties. Our RTV Putties capture exceptional detail when casting with resins, plaster, wax, low-temp metals and more.
