Typically, wire and bolt cutters are made of steel, are over-weight, and feel heavy in the hand. Fujiya solved this problem by using aluminum alloy in the handles of these well-designed tools, wrapping them in comfortable, nicely-formed resin hand grips, and topping them with finely-crafted, hardened steel cutting heads. Just shy of 8-1/2" in length, the Fujiya Wire / Bolt Cutter weighs only about 5 ounces, but packs the strength and toughness of much bigger and heavier counterparts. Cuts steel bolts and wire up to 4 mm (5/32"/.156") or equivalent to AWG 11, and piano wire up to 2 mm (5/64"/ .078") or equivalent to AWG 14. Includes adjustable stopper bolt and handle closure strap.
