Bare Metal Foil is adhesive backed real metal, only .0005 inch thick. It's easy to apply, conforms to all curvatures and allows details to show through. To use, cut a piece from the sheet slightly larger than the part to be covered. Burnish with cotton swab or soft cloth. Then trim excess with a sharp no. 11 blade. Includes two 6 inch x 12 inch sheets and complete instructions.

Did the job

I used this product to mask the canopy of a 1/48 F4F-4 Wildcat. I got good results with the masks, but make sure you use a very sharp exacto blade. The one issue I had was the product left a lot of glue residue on the clear plastic which was difficult to remove without damaging the paint. It is much easier to use than trying to custom cut tape to make masks. If your model does not come with masks I would recommend this.
