Nothing stifles productivity and progress on model building, crafting and woodworking projects like waiting for paint to dry. After years of searching, development and testing, Micro-Mark has the solution - Introducing Micro-Make™ Doctor DryBooth. As one of the most sought-after and asked-for products ever, Doctor DryBooth delivers on the promise of cutting to a mere fraction the drying times of a wide variety of paints . . . including enamels. In our own testing, we found that a commercially produced styrene plastic model car body painted to full coverage with a popular spray enamel was dry to the touch in 25 minutes, dry enough to handle without fingerprints in 50 minutes and cured hard and smooth in 75 minutes using Doctor DryBooth. The model exhibited no sign of melting, warp or other distortion. The same model car body, sprayed side-by-side from the same can of paint at the same time and under the exact same conditions, then left to air-dry, took more than double the time to be dry to the touch and much longer still to be fully hardened and cured.

Available exclusively through Micro-Mark, Doctor DryBooth is a professional-quality product designed specifically for modelers and makers and built to exceed your expectations. The heart of this well-designed unit is its integrated warm air convection system, which circulates gently heated air through the cabinet and around your project, resulting in a superior finish in an incredibly short amount of time. Temperatures inside the cabinet can be set from approximately 135 degrees - great for finishing die-cast, other metals and wood - to approximately 100 to 105 degrees - ideal for plastic, resin and more. The cabinet and the clear tempered glass door keep dust particles at bay while your project dries. Time dial sets drying interval up to 25 minutes; Heat dial sets temperature. Interior dimensions of the metal cabinet are 10-1/2" wide x 13-3/4" high x 7-1/2" deep; overall size is 10-5/8" wide x 18" high x 8" deep. Includes 2 chrome plated metal racks which can be adjusted to 13 positions within the cabinet and 6' cord with standard plug for household outlets.

Great drying booth

Im usually not one for writing reviews but this was an exception for an exceptional product.

I had toyed with the idea of getting a cheap dehydrator for painting but I was always afraid of potential issues with too much heat and having to modify racks so it would actually hold a model and/or parts. Not the case with Dr Drybooth.

Yes it is a bit pricey when compared to modified food dyhydrators but the confidence of knowing the heat is adjustable as it the drying time, I am glad I spent the extra money for a quality product!

I put a thermometer inside and cranked the heat. It warmed up in no time and kept a constant temperature until the timer ran out NEVER going higher 110 degrees.

Simple to use right out of the box and it is everything that the description says it is and MORE!

Try it once is all I can say, youll be glad you did!

No regrets!!!!

One of my biggest frustrations with building is watching paint dry!
I love this unit!!!! I bought mine when it first came out so I paid the full tariff on it. This being said, I have absolutely no regrets.
I recently did a build for my column and it was completed over a weekend. I was able to paint, build, shoot and publish the build quickly. Even sold the model!
Ive even used the Dry Booth for home projects, like switch plates!!!
Talked a friend into one and he also loves his. Im not one to try household items for hobby related tasks. To me its just not safe to use something its not designed for. One major reason I sprung for this!
Have another friend who wants to come use it but his pieces are quite large. Im talking him into the larger booth!
