FitGrip's well-designed, knurled metal screw-type blade locking/unlocking system at the back end of the handle is leaps and bounds beyond the traditional #1 Knife handle. No more grabbing the blade and twisting to swap blades. Additionally, opposing flats on the handle prevent roll-way when the knife is resting on your work surface. Well done, Excel Team! Set includes two FitGrip knife handles, each with a #11 blade and protective cap. Holds all of the following blade types: 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 17A and 21.To remove a used blade, rotate the knurled blade-lock screw counter-clockwise and push it down on your bench to open the collet and release the blade. Then insert any no. 1 type blade into the collet and twist the lock clockwise to secure.
