The 3-pole, balanced armature and oil-impregnated bronze sleeve bearings provide lurch-free starting and silky-smooth slow speed running. And the narrow profile of the 'flat can' design fits into the hoods of HO diesels or the fireboxes of steamers. Can also be used for larger-scale narrow gauge locomotives, trolleys and rail cars. Compatible with either straight DC or DCC systems.
