The Wondercutter S - Forget Everything You've Ever Known About Cutting

The Wondercutter, by Cutra, burst onto the scene in 2018. Cutra is a South Korean company that invented and introduced the Wondercutter. Micro-Mark worked with Cutra to introduce the Wondercutter to the North American market. Since then, we have sold over 6000 Wondercutters.

We have sold so many because of the wide range of materials that can be cut with smooth precision. These materials include plastic, cardboard, balsa, fabrics, plywood, rubber, acrylic, MDF, leather and more. The Wondercutter uses ultrasonic technology to produce 40,000 vibrations per second. We are not sure how 40,000 vibrations per second can be measured, but we know it oscillates so fast that we cannot see it move or even feel the motion.

The ultrasonic vibrations of the blade are the key to the easy with which the user can cut with easy and accuracy. The vibrations allow the user guide the blade without the need of force on the material. It really is game changing technology.

Customers are finding more and more uses for the Wondercutter. We see that prototype builders, industrial engineers, shop workers, model makers, leather fabricators, dentist offices, and DIYers of all kinds revealing more and more uses of the Wondercutter. The Wondercutter is a tool we use every day in our workshop.

The lithium battery charges in about half an hour and will last an exceptionally long time. The Wondercutter is designed to sit on the benchtop or it can attach to your belt for full mobility. The blade is replaceable and also has a remarkably long life. The blades are available in a pack of 40 at a low price. A low cost maintenance kit is also available to keep your Wondercutter in fine tune.
