In 1941 Piper Aircraft introduced their final version of the popular two place side-by-side aircraft, the Piper J-4E Cub Coupe. It featured an upgraded 75 hp Continental engine and a redesigned interior. With its responsive low speed handling, it became a preferred trainer.
