MicroLux® Palm-Size Belt Sander performs those tough sanding jobs on a wide variety of materials with ease. Fabric backed belt rides on nylon rollers mounted in ball bearings. Pressure pad is impregnated with graphite to prevent friction and heat build up. Has 1" wide belt and 7/8" diameter rollers. Includes one 120 grit belt and Allen wrench. Please note: The #91133 Transformer is REQUIRED for ALL MicroLux®™ Miniature Power Tools. The tools will not operate without it. See details below.

Powerful little sander

A very good powerful little sander. Allows you to sand in some pretty small places. I found replacement belts at Econaway Abrasives. They even sell them on ebay.

Good Tool

Great little sander, for small projects, quality built!
The only thing I would like to see change, is relocating the on/off switch.
Were the switch is currently located irratates my palm, rounding the sharp edges of the switch with a fine sanding stick helps
Other than that I would highly recomend this tool!

Great tool!

Good quality foam clay

Unlike any air dry clay I've used .
Very easy to manipulate , doesn't stick to your fingers .
Can be made into paper thin sheets that hold their shape .

Thick sections will take well over 24 hours to dry out ; high water weight when fresh .
Evaporation slows down considerably once the outer " crust " dries on thick pieces .

After 24 hours @ 78 degrees and about 60% humidity , the 3.1 gram sample I experimented with weighs 1.2 grams .
.. and after 48 hrs weighs just 1/2 gram ,, and I don't think it's fully dry yet .

Definitely worth the price .
Very versatile .

My only complaint is the bag it comes in .
It is a zipper lock bag but you need to remove a fair amount of the product before you'll be able to engage the zipper .
It's stuffed full when new .
I fit the bag into a plastic container ( Folgers coffee 43.5oz can ) with an inch of water at the bottom to ensure it doesn't dry out until I use enough to be able to close the bag .
Most likely keep it in that can regardless , just to be safe .

Quality miniature model paint

This stuff is comparable to Vallejo paints which everyone in the hobby already knows are tried and true. I honestly would not be able to tell the difference between the 2 brands looking at a finished model or trying to paint with it. The price is about the same but this includes slightly bigger bottles with a better design on the lid and seem to come with a plastic mixer ball already inside but its hard to tell for sure. This paint set also includes a paint thinner and cleaner for airbrushing. Its really hard to beat the price and value of this paint set for anyone wanting to have a quality paint job on something. I would say its near impossible.
