Etch Buddy is a state-of-the-art tool that you use to fold, bend and shape photo-etched flat parts into 3-dimensional objects with unparalleled precision and efficiency. To use, lock your photo-etched part under one of the fingers on the top plate. Slide the supplied blade under the part and into the precision-machined fold line on the bottom plate. Then, lift the blade to bend the part to the desired shape. Etch Buddy has a wide assortment of finger widths and contours to accommodate all shapes and sizes of photo-etch sheet up to 6-1/2 inches long. The top plate may be rotated 180 degrees for long, straight bends. Note: For full length bends, we recommend substituting a metal ruler, such as #10115 (sold separately), for the blade. Unique features ensure perfectly square bends every time. Beautifully made of CNC-machined aluminum for a lifetime of use.

Great tool!

Good quality foam clay

Unlike any air dry clay I've used .
Very easy to manipulate , doesn't stick to your fingers .
Can be made into paper thin sheets that hold their shape .

Thick sections will take well over 24 hours to dry out ; high water weight when fresh .
Evaporation slows down considerably once the outer " crust " dries on thick pieces .

After 24 hours @ 78 degrees and about 60% humidity , the 3.1 gram sample I experimented with weighs 1.2 grams .
.. and after 48 hrs weighs just 1/2 gram ,, and I don't think it's fully dry yet .

Definitely worth the price .
Very versatile .

My only complaint is the bag it comes in .
It is a zipper lock bag but you need to remove a fair amount of the product before you'll be able to engage the zipper .
It's stuffed full when new .
I fit the bag into a plastic container ( Folgers coffee 43.5oz can ) with an inch of water at the bottom to ensure it doesn't dry out until I use enough to be able to close the bag .
Most likely keep it in that can regardless , just to be safe .

Quality miniature model paint

This stuff is comparable to Vallejo paints which everyone in the hobby already knows are tried and true. I honestly would not be able to tell the difference between the 2 brands looking at a finished model or trying to paint with it. The price is about the same but this includes slightly bigger bottles with a better design on the lid and seem to come with a plastic mixer ball already inside but its hard to tell for sure. This paint set also includes a paint thinner and cleaner for airbrushing. Its really hard to beat the price and value of this paint set for anyone wanting to have a quality paint job on something. I would say its near impossible.
