The 2-6-2 tender locomotive evolved from the 2-6-0 (Mogul) and was built for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad to traverse the prairie lands of the Midwest at the turn of the century, hence the nickname Prairie.
Bachmann's N scale replica features an E-Z-Mate® Mark II coupler on the tender. Performs best on 11.25" radius curves or greater.
