Our Optivisor Binocular Magnifier gives you 3-dimensional viewing by providing magnification for both eyes. Optical quality glass lens magnifies objects 2-1/2 times at a working distance of 8 inches. Additional interchangeable lens plates are available separately for other magnifications (see chart). Comfortable, light-weight leather headband has orthopedic felt padding and is fully adjustable to fit all head sizes. Tilts up and out of the way when not in use and can be worn over glasses. #18110 Attachment Loupe shown is optional (doubles the magnification of any lens plate) -- order separately.

Best optical magnifier

Well worth the price. I do figure painting and this makes painting the faces on 1/8 scale figures easy

Great investment for the exacting modeler

This binocular magnifier is awesome! The focus is sharp and precise, with a comfortable easy-adjust headstrap, just slip on and turn the adjuster **** until the band fits. It is also really light. I do a LOT of close-up work polishing brass castings so comfort is particularly important to me. The really cool thing is, the lens sits far enough from your face that you can still wear reading or safety glasses, so no fooling around swapping eyewear. It is 2.5X magnification, not too strong, not too weak. This is a great buy that I wish I had made a lot sooner

Great tool!

Good quality foam clay

Unlike any air dry clay I've used .
Very easy to manipulate , doesn't stick to your fingers .
Can be made into paper thin sheets that hold their shape .

Thick sections will take well over 24 hours to dry out ; high water weight when fresh .
Evaporation slows down considerably once the outer " crust " dries on thick pieces .

After 24 hours @ 78 degrees and about 60% humidity , the 3.1 gram sample I experimented with weighs 1.2 grams .
.. and after 48 hrs weighs just 1/2 gram ,, and I don't think it's fully dry yet .

Definitely worth the price .
Very versatile .

My only complaint is the bag it comes in .
It is a zipper lock bag but you need to remove a fair amount of the product before you'll be able to engage the zipper .
It's stuffed full when new .
I fit the bag into a plastic container ( Folgers coffee 43.5oz can ) with an inch of water at the bottom to ensure it doesn't dry out until I use enough to be able to close the bag .
Most likely keep it in that can regardless , just to be safe .

Quality miniature model paint

This stuff is comparable to Vallejo paints which everyone in the hobby already knows are tried and true. I honestly would not be able to tell the difference between the 2 brands looking at a finished model or trying to paint with it. The price is about the same but this includes slightly bigger bottles with a better design on the lid and seem to come with a plastic mixer ball already inside but its hard to tell for sure. This paint set also includes a paint thinner and cleaner for airbrushing. Its really hard to beat the price and value of this paint set for anyone wanting to have a quality paint job on something. I would say its near impossible.
