This is an invaluable tool when excellent lighting and visual clarity are critical to the job at hand. Ideal for close-up, precision work including quality inspection, model building, soldering, jewelry making, stamp and coin collecting, needlework, reading, and much more. The 3.75" diameter, 3 diopter, optical-quality magnifier lens enlarges to 1.75x actual size, providing a clear, unobstructed view of your work. Spring-balanced arms extend the magnifier/lamp to the exact position required, with a maximum extension up to 36". Included multi-position mounting bracket can be permanently attached to any work surface, shelf, wall, etc. with 4 screws (not included), or, use the provided adjustable clamp assembly to securely, yet temporarily, attach the mount to any table top or workbench up to 2-3/8” thick. The lamp uses common screw-in light bulbs up to 60 watts (not included), and the 55" cord plugs into any standard household outlet.
