Description:
Frogskin Camo Tan is a warm, mid-range tan tone developed to represent one of the transitional shades used within the U.S. Marine Corps’ WWII frogskin camouflage system. As part of both jungle and beach-side camo schemes, this tone helped blend service members into natural environments featuring sand, clay, and dried foliage.

Color Description:
Frogskin Camo Tan sits between Light Tan and Dark Tan in value and chroma, with balanced beige and ochre undertones. It was used to modulate the frogskin pattern in both field and equipment applications, enhancing visual disruption when layered with deeper and lighter tones. Its neutral warmth makes it especially versatile for modeling sun-baked gear and dusty battlefield surfaces.
This color was used prominently in WWII by the U.S. Marine Corps.
