This popular set of 8 fine Perma-Grit files includes: 1-1/2" wide flat file; 1-1/4" wide internal grit concave file; 1" wide external grit convex file; 3/4" x 3/4", 75 degree angle file; 3/4" diameter external grit tube file; 1/2" diameter external grit tube file; 1/4" diameter round file with handle and 1/4" square file with handle. All files are approx. 9", fine grit (approx. US 120/UK 320). Includes 8-sleeve canvas roll with hook-and-loop closure.

Good Solid Files

I've been on the fence about purchasing these for several months. I finally picked up a set as part of some shop upgrades I've been making. These are good solid files and don't seem to clog easily. The multiple profiles/shapes are pretty handy and seem to cover most situations. The fine grit is a good step between my "standard files" and my diamond files. Although I don't plan to make a common practice of it, I tested them on mild steel and they held up just fine.
