Our custom-designed Pin Insertion Plier drives micro-size pins and nails without the troublesome bending and kinking that occur when using a regular plier. Special, slotted jaws with grooved tips let you securely hold a pin near its pointed end for kink-free insertion. After the pin is started, re-grip it and push again. Then use the flat tip of the plier to push it home. Comfortable rubber handles let you work for hours.

Best thing since sliced bread!!! It is the answer to a lot of frustration with these tiny pins. I highly recommend this product!
Before I extol the virtues of this tool, I had a mishap, the tip snapped off at some point. MicroMark stepped up with immediate replacement at no cost which speaks highly of their customer service. (Looking back, a hint: Do not twist to remove pins. That might have been the cause.)
Now the tool: Unlike the push-sleeve types, there is a precision in this tool that you may not know you needed. Alignment and positioning are positive, entirely visible and setting the depth without over-driving is simple and easy.

I’ve only used it a little bit so far and it’s helping me definitely. Reading reviews on the typical nail holder prompted me to try this method. I’m building a very small boat (HMS Bounty long boat) to get a feel for how to do, well, everything! Nailing bending, getting the all important symmetry measurements correct, etc. Time will tell if this will last and how well it works in the long run. So far, I quite like it. I gave it only four stars because I’ve used it so little.
