Custom designed by our Product Development Team and manufactured exclusively for Micro-Mark, UncoupleLITE™ provides the easiest, most accurate way of uncoupling many HO, On30 and O scale locomotives and cars, as well as N scale (with minor modification) at any location on your model railroad, even in total darkness. A click of the button sends a brilliant beam of cool LED light through the clear acrylic rod right to the tip of the tool, illuminating couplers with a clarity and focus no other tool can match for precision uncoupling action. To use, simply slide the tapered tip of the tool between the knuckles of the couplers and twist gently, smoothly separating the cars.
With a lighted tip length of 4" and less than 1/4" diameter at its thickest, UncoupleLITE is also extremely useful as a precision pinpoint flashlight, providing focused, non-glare illumination inside machinery and confined areas where no other light can go. Includes 4" x 1/2" stainless steel body with push-button on/off switch, removable 4" x 1/4" acrylic light rod, and key ring. Requires one AAA battery, not included.
Note: The working tip of the UncoupleLITE can be lightly sanded to reshape it for use on smaller couplers, give it a frosted glass effect or to produce softer, reduced glare lighting.
