US Olive Drab is a flat, muted green-brown that served as the dominant camouflage and concealment color for soldiers and equipment in temperate and woodland environments. It was designed to blend into European, Korean, and Southeast Asian terrain, and it became the defining shade of the U.S. Army from the 1940s to the 1970s.
