The beam pumping unit is one of the main types of pumping units currently used in the oil field. The pumping unit consists of four parts: horsehead, beam, connecting rod, crank mechanism, reducer, power equipment and auxiliary equipment. The motor drive is converted into the up-and-down motion of the horsehead through the gearbox and the crank link mechanism in work, then the horsehead drives the plunger of the downhole oil pump up and down by the polish rod and the sucker rod to continuously pump crude oil out of the well.
This metal model kit is cast in finely crafted aluminum alloy. 219 exquisitely polished parts replicate a scaled-down version of the precision piece of machinery sometime referred to as a kowtow pump, that is widely used for underground oil extraction. It's a useful learning tool and a handsome display piece. Comes with tools, full instructions and attractively gift boxed.
