I like how most of these tweezers are self-gripping, they are spring loaded “on” to hold without your having to apply a lot of constant pressure. The little finger pads are a nice touch, but the edges should be smoothed with a small file or sand stick, they are fairly sharp right where you grip them. I actually removed the smaller “regular” straight tweezer to free up a spot, so I could use that one to store my empty scalpel (bladeless!) and a few blades. I chose this set rather than buying a complete dissecting kit (with tools I don’t need) or an empty dissecting case for the scalpel. I added a long zip pull and noticed some very slight defects on the outside of the case, I don’t recall if it arrived with them, the leather does seem to be quite soft. Recommended!
